Breast Cancer Fundraising
At Beauty in Bloom, we believe that looking after ourselves and looking after others go hand in hand. That’s why we were delighted to take part in Wear It Pink day, raising £225 for Breast Cancer Now, the UK’s leading breast cancer charity.
With our fourth anniversary in Ilkley fast approaching, it was the perfect opportunity to bring our lovely community together for a cause that matters.
A day filled with pink, fun and fundraising We certainly embraced the pink theme! The salon was decorated in pink, and the whole team dressed up to show their support for breast cancer awareness.
We also had plenty of activities to get everyone involved, including our ‘guess how many sweets are in the jar’ competition, a raffle with the chance to win a salon treatment or £50 voucher, and some delicious pink-decorated cookies and other goodies.
It was wonderful to see clients getting involved, buying raffle tickets and donating to support such an important cause.
Thank you for helping us raise £225… thanks to the generosity of everyone who supported the event, we raised a fantastic £225 for Breast Cancer Now, helping support the charity’s work in breast cancer research and support for those affected.
As we approach our fourth year in Ilkley, we’re proud to be part of such a supportive local community. Events like Wear It Pink remind us how much can be achieved when people come together, even through small acts of kindness.
As an eco-conscious salon, we’re passionate about making thoughtful choices in what we do, and supporting a cause that makes a difference to so many people felt like a natural fit.
