Beauty In Bloom by Charlotte Hawkins

Its almost the end of September and I’m not entirely sure where this year is disappearing too, it’s safe to say 2020 has so far turned out to be an incredibly surreal year. But one things for sure we are so happy to be back at work and have our salon back open; welcoming all our clients in again!

With a slightly slow start back in July, and despite the desperation for appointments, we aired on the side of caution and kept the salon very socially distant. We’re so grateful for all the support and understanding though; and our priority was to keep everyone safe, adhere to the guidelines and ensure you all had your much needed hair appointment. The past two months have been very much focused on getting us back up and running the best we can under the new restrictions in place, and now that things have settled down we are very excited to announce the launch of the BRAND NEW product line.

This month we have proudly introduced the Davines range into the salon including all our styling products, shampoos and conditioners. We initially discovered Davines after Heather from the company visited us, and as we wanted to continue focusing on our own sustainability goals we explored more about the brand to find their eco friendly objectives aligned perfectly with ours and we couldn’t resist trying the products out. That’s when we really fell in love!

As I mentioned before, at the core of Davines is sustainability. They focus heavily on producing products that have little to no effect on our planet, being 100% carbon emission free. All their packaging is recyclable, reusable and made from recycled plastic; this for us was massively important as there are many products on the eco friendly market that advertise the packaging to be recyclable yet the plastic is not originally from recycled plastic. The ingredients inside are fabulous too; everything is 62% organic and natural, with the active ingredient plus many more being sourced locally to the Davines Village in Italy. For example; they use melon in the shampoo and conditioner Momo, but only needing the flesh they give back the seeds to the farmer so that he can replant these for future fruit.

Not only are they incredibly environmentally friendly but they smell incredible too! Whether you use hairspray or not, you’ll undoubtedly want to after a spritz of the medium, extra hold or shimmer hairspray, we literally can’t get enough of the gorgeous vanillary, bakewell tarty scent every time we finish styling.

I’m sure it’s pretty obvious how much we adore Davines and we hope you love it as much as we do. So to celebrate our newfound love and share it with you we are currently offering one lucky winner the chance to take home a goodie bag full of Davines products worth an amazing £100!!!
